Cavity-Filling Rocsil® Foam
Rocsil Foam is a two component injection product that provides cavity-filling,
air and gas sealing and consolidation of highly fractured strata. When
mixed in a volume ratio of 4 to 1, the resin and catalyst produces an immediate
foaming reaction and rapid expansion of the product to as much as 30 times
its original volume. It is applied rapidly using a metering pump and mixing
gun and sets up hard minutes after expansion.
Exceptional Physical Properties
Rocsil Foam has a high expansion rate, high compressive strength and excellent antistatic properties. It is used primarily for cavity and void filling but is also ideal for temporarily sealing mine entries and shafts and for remotely sealing off underground heatings. Rocsil Foam is fire resistant and suitable for aiding firefighting operations in deep mines.
