Hydrocell Pre-Stressing Plate for Mine Roof Support
Hydrocell Pre-Stressing plate is a welded, expandable sheet metal plate
used for pre-loading support props and cribs. Hydrocells fill with water
from a hose or pump and expand to apply load to the roof. Hydrocells are
capable of supporting up to 10 tons of installed load.
Hydrocells are available in different sizes. The load produced is directly
related to the size of the plate.
Hydrocell Pre-Stressing Plate Specifications
- Pressure required to open inlet valve for inflation is 29 psi
- Relief valve releases at 290 psi
- Normal expansion is between one & three inches
- Available sizes: (special sizes can be modified)
- 300 mm x 300 mm
- 400 mm x 400 mm
- 750 mm x 750 mm
- 900 mm x 900 mm
