Lock-N-Load™ Adjustable Support
Lock-N-Load Adjustable Support is a timber support prop used in place
of steel jacks, water props or posts as either a temporary or permanent
support. It can also be used as formwork for stoppings, seals, barricades
and ventilation curtains.
Lock-N-Loads are available in various lengths and also have 2 feet of adjustable length which eliminates the need for cutting or trimming. Lengths fit mining heights from three feet to fourteen feet with load bearing capacities of either five, eight or twenty tons.
Easy to Install
Lock-N-Load Adjustable Support can be installed by one person. Clamps hold the beams in place using a preload force of 2,500 lbs. (11kN) that is applied using a simple wrench. The wrench is optional and can be purchased with the unit. Lock-N-Load can be removed and reused by simply releasing the clamps. The prop must NOT be removed if under load.
Lock-N-Load can be packaged with conventional cap blocks and header boards. In addition, various steel fittings are available to tie into steel or wooden beams.
