Rocprop™ Mechanical Roof Prop
Rocprop is a compact mechanical prop that has been specifically designed
for underground mining applications. Rocprop is able to apply an active,
ten ton pre-load roof force using hydraulics. The mechanical yield mechanism
enables controlled closure up to 30% of the initial height.
Rocprop is ideal for applications in:
- Longwall take-offs
- Headgate support
- Tailgates where there is access to water and compressed air
Easy to Install
Rocprop is easy to install. Its size and weight allow large quantities of the Rocprop to be transported into the mine on a single trip.
Rocprop comes with a variety of headboards that are designed to meet the application at hand. It is available for mining heights from 3’ 3” to 20’. All steel construction eliminates fire risk hazard.
