Strata was asked to participate in a Viewpoint With Dennis Quaid documentary entitled: Opportunities for Young people in Critical Industries.
With valued support from engineers managing the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) Expansion project in Virginia, USA, Strata spoke to the message that young people do not have to go to a “tech” company to have a technical career. Today, the critical industries of tunnel construction, road construction, mining and maritime are using some of the most advanced technology available. More than ever, there is an abundance of leading-edge technologies being deployed into these industries for safety, communications, project management and more.
Career opportunities in these fields are far different now than they were even a few years ago, and there are many career opportunities that are targeted to a younger, diverse generation.
