Strata Worldwide is excited to announce the beginning of a new chapter in the company’s growth and long-term strategic direction. As part of this evolution, the business will now focus on two primary global markets, Mining and Maritime, positioning Strata to further strengthen its leadership in industrial safety technologies, communications and networking, and geotechnical support solutions. The company’s tunneling business will continue to operate as a key component of the Mining division, supporting underground infrastructure and construction projects worldwide.
In recent years, Strata has experienced substantial growth across both the Mining and Maritime sectors. To support continued global expansion and enhance customer engagement, the company has implemented a new leadership structure to accelerate growth, strengthen market focus, and drive innovation within each division.
“As part of this transition, Strata is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Hawes as President of Mining and Adam Beauchamp as President of Maritime,” said Mike Berube, CEO of Strata Worldwide. “Both leaders bring extensive industry experience, strategic leadership capabilities, and proven track records of driving business growth within their respective sectors.”
In their new roles, Ryan and Adam will lead the strategic direction and operational development of their divisions while continuing to advance Strata’s commitment to delivering innovative technologies that improve safety, productivity, and communication in complex industrial environments.
Ryan Hawes has more than 20 years of experience in global mining technology and operational leadership. He previously held executive leadership positions, including Executive Vice President and COO at Hexagon Mining, where he oversaw global operations and strategic growth initiatives. Most recently, he served as CEO of Rigid Robotics, focusing on AI-enabled technologies for the mining industry, and also served on the company’s Board of Directors. Ryan began his career in mining operations with Barrick Gold and Teck Resources before transitioning into mining technology leadership, where he became recognized for building high-performing teams and driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance safety and productivity.
Adam Beauchamp is a seasoned global business executive with more than 20 years of experience in corporate development, strategic growth, mergers and acquisitions, and industrial operations across North America, Europe, and Latin America. He has served as a valued business partner to Strata Worldwide, focusing on advancing safety in maritime transport and logistics through collision avoidance technologies. Previously, Adam spent more than 14 years with APM Terminals, including serving as Global Head of Corporate Development, where he led global investment strategies, M&A activities, and growth initiatives across more than 75 business units in over 40 countries.
